Ronati, Who We Are, What We Do and Our Founder

Merging the Worlds of Antiques and Technology

In the world of interior design, a lot of attention is given to designers, manufacturers, and retailers. There are numerous portals which cater to the many facets of the industry…all of them except one, that is. Curators of antique, vintage, and one-of-a-kind pieces have largely been left out of the loop. Stacey Tiveron, founder and CEO of Ronati, has set out to change that. She is creating tools to help sell better, faster and easier.

Antique dealers are treasure hunters and preservers of our cultural history with a keen eye and understanding of days gone by. As a part of that business, dealers have been largely left in the technological past. We found many dealers are still using hand-written ledgers and spreadsheets which can make inventory management well, a nightmare. Stacey has imagined a world where it is easy to get an inventory full of found treasures on the many marketplaces perused by interior designers and antique collectors alike.

Bringing Antique Dealers into the Future

How did Ronati come to be? During one venture to High Point Market, Stacey found herself entranced by an interior designer friend walking through the Antique & Design Center snapping photos of pieces and texting them to clients. “Surely this can’t be how you shop for antiques for clients?,” she asked. But in fact it was. While Stacey believes in the magic of treasure hunting, her history in the technology world told her there must be a better way for antique dealers to have their pieces found! She soon got to work creating a solution.

As she continued to explore the realm of antiques, she found herself sitting with dealers and becoming enamored with their world, their passion, and their stories. “In a time where authenticity and originality are so important, I felt that the timing to help dealers bring these pieces to the forefront was now.” More than ever, buyers are longing for unique pieces with stories that add interest and history to their homes. And since so many dealers know the challenge of selling in the changing times, it is vital that we preserve their important role in our society.

Ronati’s ECM Solves Problems for Antiques Dealers

And so the creation of Ronati’s eCommerce Manager (ECM) began. The ECM allows dealers to manage their inventory and update listings on multiple marketplaces all in one convenient platform. “While there are multiple tools available for inventory management, there is nothing capable of handling purveyors of one-of-a-kind items.” Ronati solves that problem while saving dealers precious hours that could be spent doing what they do best, finding the beautiful treasures they love so much.

The simple act of treasure hunting is an exercise in joy. In fact, the name “Ronati” comes from the Hebrew name “Rona” which means my joy. “I created Ronati so that dealers of vintage, antique, and rare pieces could spend more time doing what they do best … bringing joy to their buyers worldwide.” And that kind of joy makes the world a more beautiful place.
